Moon Island: The Last Strand
A downloadable Moonslop for Windows
A retired old bald hero possesses a power capable of levitating objects, dealing with the most dangerous challenges in his way and fighting the scariest things around the apocalyptic state of the world, such as Job Applications, Doros, reading and many other terrifying entities.
His power is related to the cause and the cure, the origin and the end. Organizations have noticed this blessing and are compelled to use it for great Evil.
What is this power? How is it related to the apocalypse? How can it be the hope and destruction at the same time? Can the hero save the world?
Find out by stepping into the shoes of M, after waking up from a revealing dream and realizing that the fate of humanity, as well as your own power, rests in your hands (or maybe on your head).
This is a first-person moon-slop game made by a Moonmoon (twitch.tv/moonmoon) viewer who likes the stream and tried to make something fun for the whole moonmoon community to enjoy while the streamer plays and we(?) watch. This means that, in my opinion, this game wouldn't be nearly as fun if played by yourself, by another streamer, or by Moonmoon offline (but in any case, feel free to try it).
Right now, this is just a playable teaser that lasts around 10-15 minutes. The game is linear and focuses on goofy storytelling, with a few challenges thrown in. It takes a somewhat immersive approach with lots of interactions scattered around the environments.
Quick note: this is a hobby project made by someone who isn’t a professional game dev, and I put in as much effort as my capabilities allowed. It didn’t get tested by enough people, so if something’s broken, let me know and I’ll try to fix it. Just have fun 👍
- AI was used for image generation (2 images), some code that I couldn't figure out, and to translate in-game text and this page (since English isn't my native language)
- This game does not include any CaseOh or other streamer cameos
